the weighing machine
can’t say how heavy it’s got
the thermometer
how cold
so why
should a white coat
be any better
than the disguises

lo stetoscopio
non cattura il battito del mio cervello
le radiografie
non riveleranno i miei incubi
la bilancia
non misura quanto tutto è pesante
né il termometro
quanto freddo
allora perché
una vestaglia bianca
dovrebbe essere meglio
degli altri travestimenti
che tutti noi
abbiamo indossato?
